Frequently Asked Questions

What can I expect in a session?

I will start the session by asking you some questions to get you talking about your stress. Be prepared to discuss your physical aches and pains, your mental anxieties, your emotional challenges, and/or any goals or dreams that you want to manifest. While you share, I will take detailed notes. When you are finished sharing, I will offer you perspective on these issues as blessings, lessons, and experiences towards growth in your life. I will then provide instruction on exercises you can do to help yourself through the process and managing your stress better. I offer homework for you to practice, and then suggest a course of treatment in what I could teach you and how I could support you in a series of 6-8 sessions. I will take detailed notes on the perspective, lessons, and homework as well. At the end of the session I will ask if you want to book another session, and I will email you all the notes.

How many sessions will I need?

While some clients are happy with just one session, most of my clients who do their homework achieve their desired results and meet their goals within 6-8 sessions. The most successful cases meet weekly or every other week and then check-in quarterly or bi-annually to keep themselves accountable. Like any school program, if you do your homework, you'll experience better results and learn what you need to learn better. My goal is always to teach/coach myself out of a job.

What is your cancellation policy?

Stuff happens. I understand. And, my time is valuable as well. You will receive a reminder email 48 hours prior to your appointment, and that email includes a link to cancel or reschedule. If you cancel with less than 24 hours notice, I charge the payment method I have on file. I will call you at the time scheduled. If you miss the call, I will try again in 5 minutes. If you miss again, your session will be charged.I book my appointments back to back with no cushion between. If you are late, your session will still end at the specified time so that I can be available on time for my next client. Sometimes, emergencies happen. If something serious or unavoidable gets in the way, contact me to reschedule within a week, and I'll forgive the late notice. If "emergencies" become habit (3x or more) your canceled sessions will be charged.

How often should I schedule sessions?

Consistency is KEY to any successful educational program because repetition is essential to creating brain patterning and developing new automatic habits. For best results, I recommend clients meet with me once a week or every other week for the first 6-8 sessions. At the end of the series of 6-8 sessions, together we will assess your progress and determine a maintenance plan. Maintenance plans vary according to personal goals. Those clients who do not commmit to a regular schedule of sessions often take more sessions to complete their program because they do not do their homework. Meeting more regularly means holding yourself accountable to doing your homework.

How much does it cost?

An initial consultation is $100, and lasts 60-90 minutes. After that, sessions are charged to the nearest 15min. 15min = $25 30min = $50 45min = $75 60min = $100 75min = $125
