The number one cause, and arguably the only cause, for any physical or mental or emotional challenge is stress. Stress manifests in the body and mind in the form of illness and injury, or negative emotions such as anger, fear, and frustration. Memories of past trauma and unprocessed emotion hide inside the body causing imbalance that develops into physical unhealth. The good news is the stress is totally curable, by the simple act of changing our mind about the issues that surround us in our world.

After years of study both on her own mat and by watching the bodies of her students, TeriLeigh has developed the Body Wisdom system of understanding what types of stress typically take residence in what parts of the body and what types of injury or illness tend represent what deeper spiritual or emotional blockages from balance.

How one performs a yoga pose and where one feels tightness, challenge, pain, or discomfort in a yoga pose can help identify the types of stress and particular spiritual and emotional issues or energetic blockages the practitioner is experiencing. In essence the body is constantly talking to us. The louder the pain, the louder the body's voice. Thus, if we listen to the body whisper, we will never have to hear it scream.

In TeriLeigh's Body Wisdom Yoga Workshop students will learn to listen to the language of body. TeriLeigh will outline the typical types of stresses held in the different parts of the body. Yoga practitioners will develop a greater awareness of their own practice, why certain poses have challenged them and what injuries may be trying to tell them about their lives.

"Just a quick note of thanks for a very meaningful session yesterday.   As I so very much believe in Eckhart Tolle's message that life gives you the experience that is most helpful in the evolution of your consciousness, I feel so excited and blessed for the experience of meeting you." ~David Landau
